Violin Sonate in e-minor   (composed in 2010)

I. Allegro ma non troppo  MP3   Score

a romantic and passionate movement on a - as I think - very beautiful theme.

 

II. Arioso Andante dolente MP3   Score

a very melancholic song-like Andante. The main theme is a variation of the main theme of the first movement.

III. Tarantella - Allegro con fuoco MP3   Score

a furious 6/8 Allegro on a theme which originally was to be used for the Coda of the first movment. In particular I am very happy about the development which makes a lot use of counterpoint.
